Fall/Winter Knits

{Yes, she made that pretty wrap too!}

This beautiful lady, my mother and the kiddo's Jean Jean, was busy this winter with all sorts of activities and travel but along the way her hands stayed busy knitting.  Her skills have improved immensely in the last 4 years and there are few patterns she is unwilling to attempt.  The slideshow below highlights her knits from the fall/winter seasons.  If you want to see more of her work look here.

Not pictured in the slideshow is another hat for Sophia that matches the multi-colored sweater, another hat/scarf combination for me, and a sweater for Vincent that he will wear next year.

The song on the slideshow has nothing to do with knitting but everything to do with this beautiful Spring weather.  It is one of my favorite praise songs by Nichole Nordemon.

Pictured below is the throw my mom made for Sophia's toddler bed.  The pictures do not do it justice.  This throw is destined to be an heirloom and took a great amount of skill and time to complete.  Each square is a different pattern that is then pieced together in a quilt type finish.  Thanks Mama Jean!  We love you!

So beautiful and so talented! What wonderful treasures she is making for y'alls family to enjoy for years to come.

I especially liked the hat/scarf combo that both you and Sophia were sporting in the slideshow - just precious!

Miss you, my sweet friend :-)
