Going Green this Halloween

We decided to "go green" with a garden theme this Halloween. Sophia was a little ladybug and Mr. Vincent a pea pod. Our talented Mimi made Sophia's precious ladybug costume. And our little pea in a pod? A neighborhood consignment store buy. Halloween eve fell after a very busy day in the Morlandt household. Sophia's birthday party was earlier that morning (more on that to come...). We decided to eat out with the family in town rather than trick or treat. Mr. Vincent decided that being a small pea in a constricting pod was not for him - so the outfit was a nice photo opportunity. The little ladybug? She charmed many a restaurant patron with her antennae and puffy costume. Here are some pictures of the little garden critters for you to enjoy. Keep in mind that capturing a two year old is quite tricky, not so much a treat (Hee - Hee! Do you like my play on words?)
